About Senator Carlo Leone
State Senator for the 27th District Carlo Leone serves Stamford and Darien as the Deputy President Pro Tempore of the Connecticut State Senate, after winning a Special Election in 2011. Previously, he served as State Representative in the Connecticut House Legislature.
Carlo has served in multiple leadership positions throughout his political career in both the House and Senate. Carlo is currently Senate Chairman for the Transportation and General Law Committees, and is Vice-Chairman for the Finance, and Revenue and Bonding Committees.
A veteran himself, Carlo is a program manager at The WorkPlace, helping homeless Veterans find housing and employment assistance in Fairfield County.
Carlo is committed family man at home, and he is dedicated to working for the citizens of Stamford and Darien in the Connecticut General Assembly.
